We had just hit a low point in our marriage when we started at Logos Counseling.  What we found with Todd was a positive and Christian approach to counseling.  He was non-judgmental and focused on our issues. 

Through our counseling sessions we were able to relieve emotions and then focus on future planning.  Homework always provided us with tools necessary for improved communication.  Through this process we have experienced more spiritual growth together as a couple which was not present prior to counseling. 

Our communication and love is bigger and deeper now than it has been since before we were married almost ten years ago. 

If it was not for Todd we would not be where we are today in our relationship and enjoying life together again as a family.

Since completing treatment with Mr. Baker, our marriage has been truly blessed. Yes, we have had miscommunication but we have used the many tools that Mr. Baker gave us to get back on track with communicating. 

Charles and I have continued to block the same time we used for counseling for us.  It’s still our day and time weekly to share with one another.  Charles and I also pray together side by side, hand in hand, on bended knees beside our bed every night.

God truly blessed our marriage when he placed Mr. Baker in it to lead and guide us.

When I first started seeing Todd I was pretty much a miserable mess, through a series of events in my life I was left feeling stunned with a lot of obsessive/negative, "why me'  thinking.  Todd taught me tangible "thinking tools" , a real way that I could  work through these feelings, overcome the destructive thinking so that I could move forward. I am very grateful to be feeling my old self again.

I went in to it a little skeptical, since I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but in the end it really made a difference in my life.  It wasn’t any kind of a therapy session that focused on the past or anything like that.  It was all about looking toward the future to see what I really wanted to accomplish!  I learned how to set some clear goals for things that I wanted to accomplish in the near future, and then work out an easy plan on how to accomplish and get what I was looking for.  Every week was a fun time, and since everyone was talking about the future, we were all excited and motivated!  I think everyone has things they’d like to change, but a lot of times we lack motivation, time, or anything else.  This workshop helped me realize things that I didn’t even know were keeping me from what I wanted!  This is definitely something I would encourage anyone to do, and I didn’t even go in with anything specific on my mind that I wanted to accomplish.   I will be considering going again too.

Thanks Todd for providing this wonderful class (Goal Attainment Workshop for Teens) and opportunity for my son to think about and talk about his goals.  Let me know if there is anything that you can share with me.  I would love to be able to continue these discussions with him.  He says that he now understands the importance of setting goals.  He says that he plans on using these techniques when school starts again.
