Amanda Nesbitt is a fun loving traveler who believes in the power of truth. Using a Cognitive Behavior Theory approach, she is dedicated to helping her clients find the truth in their lives. CBT focuses on helping the client to identify their true feelings about themselves and those around them so that attitudes and relationships can be refocused into powerful centers of healthy communication.
Amanda has training in multiple areas of counseling treating clients with issues of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship, and Bipolar disorder. She has a passion for helping young people navigate the world of life and works with them on college planning, career counseling, friendships, women issues, and Women of Color issues.
When not working, Amanda enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends, Dobby (her three-year-old Shorkie), volunteering, and working with She’s My Hero where she serves on the Board of Directors.
