As a therapist, Krista’s utmost goal is to provide the type of care that ensures a safe and caring environment. It is her hope that through a strong therapeutic relationship, clients are able to process through the challenges, hardships or traumas they have experienced. It is her belief that seeking counseling is a courageous step towards growth and healing in the life of her clients. Krista takes great honor in stepping into and walking alongside her clients as they find the best ways to cope, manage and grow from these experiences. In her view of life, all things, no matter the circumstance, are redeemable and capable of hope.
She has experience working with children, adolescents and their families dealing with a variety of challenges. Through this, she has gained skills in working with several modalities such as Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Art Therapy, CBT and EMDR. It is a passion of Krista’s to work with and advocate for children and adolescents through an individualized and holistic approach to therapy.
In her free time, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and family. She also enjoys being outdoors, baking, watching movies, and creating memories with those she loves. She and her family attend North Tarrant Church where they love being part of a great community.
