Hello, my name is Patricia and I have been working with children in education since 2007. I continued my education attending Dallas Baptist University, graduated with my School Counseling Degree in 2012, and then earned my License in Profession Counseling for the State of Texas becoming a Board Approved LPC.

I have had the opportunity of working with children, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families to help as they navigate their journeys through a wide variety of life challenges. My role is to work with clients on their journey of self-discovery and acceptance and to build a healthy client-therapist relationship. I believe that relationships are of primary importance in our wellbeing, not only mentally, but also physically, spiritually, and socially. I am passionate about helping people find hope, reclaim their voices, and discover the best solutions that will work in their individual situation. I also believe in meeting people where they are and in providing a supportive environment to discover the solutions that help them grow and find healing.

My area of expertise includes, but are not limited to relationships, depression, stress, anxiety, addiction, mental health crisis, grief, loss, trauma and vocational/school issues. The techniques I use most often are Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, shopping, reading books, and spending time with my daughter and my family.
